Damage and problems
Inspect your order when it arrives and contact us immediately if the item is faulty or damaged, or if you have received the wrong one. That way we can look at the problem and put it right.

14-day cooling-off period for the European Union
Notwithstanding the above, if the goods are shipped to the European Union you have the right to cancel or return the order within 14 days, for any reason and without giving a justification. As above, the item must be in the same condition in which you received it, unworn and unused, with all its tags, in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

How it must come back. In the same condition it arrived in: unused, with the Consortium guarantee tag still attached, in its packaging. We cannot take back a piece that has been used, scratched or has lost its tag.

Return shipping is yours to pay. You choose the courier; we recommend a tracked service, because until the parcel reaches us the risk stays with you.

Refunds
As soon as we have received and inspected your return we will let you know whether the refund has been approved. If it is approved, within 10 working days you will be refunded automatically through the original payment method. It can take some time before your bank or card issuer processes the refund and makes it visible.
If more than 15 working days have passed since the return was approved, write to us at elmatodelcuoio@hotmail.it.

What cannot be returned. Pieces made to measure or personalised: initials pressed into the leather, a measurement taken on you, a colour or a finish that is not on the list. They are made for you and we cannot put them back on sale, so the right to change your mind does not apply. We tell you before we make them, on the product page and in the message where we agree on it.

Repairs. They are another matter again, and they have no deadline: if one day a bag of ours breaks with use, write to us. We know how to repair it even ten years later. We tell you the quote first.
